Thanks guys. My wife hates the goatee (all facial hair, for that matter), but loves the bald head. So, she says that she can live with it. I'm going to give it a couple of months and see how it goes. It is hard to tell in the picture, but the left side does not connect as well as the right side. So, it is a little lopsided, right now. I've had a full beard before and it does eventually connect and look a little more even.

I kept the goatee and it looks really good now. Amazingly, the two people who did not like my shaved head actually like the goatee and sly combo. They both gave me compliments.
I have gotten very nice compliments from everyone. So, I think that the Goat is here to stay for a while.
The only negative is that my wife hates it. I mean she really hates it. I'm just hanging in there and hoping that she'll grow to like it. She's really cool though and she understands that my happiness with my appearance is more important than her approval. -

My wife always hates my goatee too. (I shave it off sometimes, just for her.) But when I grow it, after some time, she gets used to it. She's a keeper if she's cool with you keeping it despite her dislike.
