Need an Honest Opinion

Alright guys, I need some honest opinions here. I decided to grow a goatee and I'm getting some odd reactions from people. Nobody has said anything negative, but a few have been sorta indifferent. My dad still hasn't said a word about it. So, I'm wondering if it looks bad.
It's only been two weeks. So, it still has some time to fill in. Anyways, here's a pic of my new goatee. What do you think? Not sure that I am attaching a pic right. So, bear with me.

I think it looks good, especially with your bald head.

Well you'll get a rough idea in 30 days (the sly rule), but to really know how it is going to be, 3 months. I did it, I'm not only keeping the goat and stache, I'm growing out the extensions. And letting it go natural grey--that's a real trip.
Beards are "growing" hair, shaving is "cutting". It takes longer to see what the growth really looks like once you get a handle on trim length etc. that best suits your beard density and face. Think of it as a new type of love handle. So far it looks like a good start
--don't waste it.

I think it looks great. Give it a chance to grow in some more before you make a decision, but it looks like a keeper to me.

Give it time. Facial hair can easily take 2 or 3 months to look presentable.

Looks great to me, and as usual, I'm jealous because I can't grow anything in the middle under the lip to the chin. I am not a fan of regular moustaches, but I've joked with my wife about growing a handlebar because the goat doesn't look right... she didn't find anything humorous about my idea.
