Just got to remind you, it's about what you like, and she should respect that. I can appreciate what you're going through though as I've often posted, my wife hates the haircut, but oddly--doesn't mind the chin mitten.
It's been rightly suggested by other brothers that this is your thing, and that our wives don't seem to ask us about their personal appearance matters. Does she ask you about what makeup to wear? How to style her hair? What color lipstick? If not, until she does, keep the fuzz--

Right on, Brother! She just got her haircut yesterday and never asked which style I think that she should get. In fact, she got a style that I don't like. Do I dare say that? No freakin way!

Well I don't want to cause the outbreak of WWIII in your household, but it is a point when she hauls off and starts crabbing about the chin mitten. Let her strike first, once she's pitched the ball over the plate--KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK.

Then duck.

Ugh. Why do I get the impression the goat is doomed?

People usually ask me why I'm single and why I don't want a girlfriend or wife. My answer is that I don't have one because I'd rather be happy. I really can't stand the whining, nagging, irrational bul...er...bovine-poop that women make you deal with 23 hours a day so that you can have a little fun in the other.
For what it's worth, I tend not to like the chin only ones but yours looks really good. You're going to need to post a photo of the full goatee in order to do any comparisons.

Damn! And I thought I was the only guy in America that was happy to be single! Even girlfriends don't get the concept of "ME time". When I find a woman that doesn't want to talk for at least three consecutive days a week and does not try to force her will upon me, I will have found the perfect woman.

When I think about all my friends who sit around a complain about what their girlfriend or wife is making them do I seriously wonder why anyone would bother. I have personally seem then getting their a** handed to them over the dumbest of things. The women I know usually complain about their guy in ways that boil down to the fact that he's not listening to their demands.
Then the most amusing thing is that these people seem to want to destroy happiness whereever they see it. They constantly want to hook me up with someone and I want to say "Gee, thanks for offering to give me someone who will tell me what to wear and tell me what to do but I'm happy being single!"
When I find a woman that doesn't want to talk for at least three consecutive days a week and does not try to force her will upon me, I will have found the perfect woman.
A friend of mine dated a deaf girl who could read lips. He loved it, he could play music as loud as he wanted in the car and didn't have to speak to her while driving.

She was deaf, but knew how to talk (unfortunately). She read lips so in order to speak she needed to be able to see his lips so that meant he could drive in peace at night because it was either dark or too difficult since he's be facing the road and not her. But, yea, that's pretty damn handy! Though in our case she'd probably say "Can you shave your beard? I can't hear what you're saying with that hair!"

I just noticed you had a photo with the mustache in the original post of this thread. I don't know if it's because the hair was just stubble in that pic or what, but I think the chin-only goat looks best. I rarely think that way and usually think that chin-only goats look kinda silly but yours really looks good that way.

A goatee is a great accent for a bald head. If you're getting strange reactions, it's because people aren't used to seeing it. I think it looks good. Neatly trimmed.

Alright guys, I need some honest opinions here. I decided to grow a goatee and I'm getting some odd reactions from people. Nobody has said anything negative, but a few have been sorta indifferent. My dad still hasn't said a word about it. So, I'm wondering if it looks bad.
It's only been two weeks. So, it still has some time to fill in. Anyways, here's a pic of my new goatee. What do you think? Not sure that I am attaching a pic right. So, bear with me.
When I finally take the plunge and shave it off I'm hoping I look as good as you man! My problem is that my chin whiskers are fused with grey hairs now; the only place on my head where I have grey hairs. I wish I could have nice thick, black growth like yours. It looks great!

Looks good, definitely wait until it fills in before you make a decision to keep it or lose it. It's probably just the angle, but it looks low your goatee might be a little wide.
I'm probably wrong, to be honest I'm jealous of your goatee, I'm trying to grow one.
