Bologna
« on: April 22, 2009, 09:56:30 PM »
Do you guys eat bologna straight from package or do you fry it up?

I eat it both ways.  When I eat cold, i smoother it with miracle whip, cheese salt pepper and lettuce.
When I fry it, i generally get three slices, add cheese and miracle whip on toast.

What is your preference

I haven't had bologna since I was like 12 or 13.  Liked it as a kid, but now.....yuck!

It's kind of like a flat, round hot dog.  It's made of "stuff" LOL

I don't think we want to know what kind of misc. parts are in bologna.  I haven't had it since I was a kid, and even then, didn't like it.

i like bologna every now and then, and i even like P&P too. i really like getting a 1/2-inch thick slice of german bologna, frying it up with onions, green peppers and some olive oil (without the razor blade in it   O0) and eating it with cheese and mustard.

great. its 0824 and im hungry now... haha.

P&P is awesome too.  Everyonce in a while I will crave a bologna sandwich with mustard on it and a lil bit of sliced onion.  But I always have lettuce on it for sure.

Don't like the greasy texture, but I do like mortadella, w/ the fat showing--it's a contradiction I know.  I like it with fontina cheese, dry salami and Tabasco brand mayonaise---and incredible product--on a real French baguette.  Fried--sorry, don't go there--too much like fried spam.  I know that's popular, particularly in Hawaii, but just can't do it unless there's nothing else to eat.
