At age 68 I have found a new career and passion: designing and marketing apprarel and gifts for BALD GUYS! Tyler and I have spoke and met in person and we both love what we do. Soon I will offer all SBG's discounts on my shirts. You can view the designs on my site: baldisbold.net. My best to all those who are on the forum- and for those who are not currently employed- the best in finding your passion. the Bald Kahuna, Allen Cox

I'm a music teacher and musician. I play clarinet and viola.
I teach private clarinet lessons and just started teaching violin also. I also play for $$ when there are jobs available, although that's inconsistent and seasonal (holiday stuff, musicals in the summer, etc).
I have a degree in sociology/anthropology which is pretty much useless from a job standpoint (at least with just a bachelor's), so this year I'm going to get an alternative teacher's certification to teach elementary music or JH orchestra/band (no HS band, no marching band for me...).
I was in law school for a year, but I didn't like it at all! It was a good experience though because it made me realize that I really love teaching music.

Kahuna,
I've seen your website and love the tshirts. I used to live in Oahu. I was stationed at KBay. I miss it.. Best times of my life there.

Now I can say I have a job. I start Thursday and will be working in the pet room at a local pet store. So if any Sly guys are in the Spokane area and need plants or critters or something let me know and I can get you a discount, lol.

What? So you're totally bald, no "horseshoe" or hair on your scalp at all? Was this a drug test, or part of an anti-terroist plan?

Now everybody here is going to want to get his hands on those drugs.

About 10 years ago I hired a guy from Canada who had lost all hair on his body (all -- including eyelashes) to a childhood illness (I forget which, Scarlet Fever perhaps?).
At the time, I was still guardless-buzzing and coveted his completely smooth (and very shiny) scalp.

High fever can definitely cause that.

Thank you all for your hairless support!!!
It was all my hair for about 3 years eyebrows, lashes, even inside my nose!!!
You can guess the rest.
About 3 years ago I grew my eyebrows back or should I say they did it on their own.
I now sport a mustache and a small goatee.
Body hair is still 99% gone
Head hair, if I let it comes out in a few patches……..
Being an old hippie it was quite traumatizing
Be well Q balls
