ok, i was told my job is interesting. i disagree but here goes. i work for an environmental waste company. we take in waste from drilling rigs and oil/gas production facilities. then send them to another facility to be treated and disposed of. my actual job now is maintaining water quality at the site i am at. i have to test the water to see that it is safe or needs to be disposed of. if the water is safe, i process it through our system so it can be re-used for another job. we clean alot of boat tanks and such. it all has to do with keeping everything out of the environment.

How do you like that PBurke?  Sounds like it would be a secure job, right?  A couple of the FSE's I worked w/ jumped to the oil/gas industry and they both complained that it was a lot of work (I guess they travel a lot more than we do).

really secure if the oilfeild is busy. this economy has the oilfeild so damn slow that it is scary. almost hate to hear the phone ring cause you just don't know if it will be a call about layoffs.

I train dogs for a living.
I go to people's homes and teach them how to effectively train their dogs.

I also rep for a dog and cat food company that ships the product directly to the homes.

Not sure if I can post my biz websites... so I didn't.

I am and have been working in the Aerospace industry doing NDT (Non-Destructive testing) on various materials for aircraft, rockets, ships etc. I got into this field of work when I left the US Army in '92 and have been at it ever since. I love the job , and yes I do still fly rather than drive on long trips.

Job #2 is part time loading and unloading tractor trailers. Fun, fun, fun.

I also build custom PC's for people on the side for extra cash.

I'm a Youth Director in Fort Worth, TX at a small United Methodist Church.  Been at the church (my first  for almost 2 years - in November). Also, during the school year I am a bus driver.
