Has anyone come up with a unique way to sink shave?
I have been searching for different ways to get the best save
Take for instance, if you shave after a shower you noggin is prepped for shaving
You can get the best shave after a shower but if you want to shave mid day
Liking the idea of wrapping the head in a wet hot towel
Ever thought of using those warm shaving cream dispensers?
Really would like to hear your inputs on this

Like others here, I always have taken a nice hot shower before shaving.
But, I find that if I can wait about an hour or go to the gym before showering, I get a much better, smoother, longer lasting shave.
I do throw a wash cloth, soaked in straight steaming hot water on the dome after showering while I assemble my shaving "weapons."
I use Headslick, w a few drops of glycerine in a shaving brush to whip up a nice lather on the dome. Saves on the HS, and makes enough for a second pass.
Hope that helps you.

Strange as it may seem - -if I shave later in the morning or in the afternoon I get a better and longer lasting shave and it is alot smoother than when I do it in the early morning - My dome feels so much smoother after shaving later in the day and it lasts the rest of the day. It is 43 days of being BALD and - -I love being BALD

All I do is :
1) Have a shower and use whatever is in my shower to clean myself
2) I use Gillette Sensitive Skin and lather up and hit my dome with the Fusion Power
3) Against the grain and feel for spots with my hand, and wipe the extra stuff off my head.
That's it, but I still hate my shadow left over so I need a new routine..
Please give me some suggestions.
Thanks Boys!

I don't shower in the morning. The shaving goes like this:
Fill sink with hot water.
Clean complete head with Yves Rocher Ginseng Actif Daily Face Wash.
Lather with HeadSlick.
Shave face with a Wilkinson disposable.
Shave dome with a HeadBlade S4 Shadow with HB triple blades or Wilkinson Contact Plus double blades, one pass against the grain. A little touch-up above the ears with the disposable.
Rinse with hot water, then shortly with cold water.
After drying, apply HeadLube matte or Yves Rocher Ginseng Actif After-Shave Balm or (in the Summer because of its cooling effect) Baxter of California After Shave Balm
This takes about 15 minutes and keeps my dome smooth for 10-12 hours.

I need to update my routine once again, I've done some additions and modifications recently.
The Equipment
Gillette Sensor Excel Razor
HeadBlade Sport with Sensor Adapter
Shaving Brush
Jumbo Chowder Mug
HeadSlick Shaving Cream w/ Pump
HeadShed Exfoliating Scrub
HeadLube Gloss or Matte (optional)
I only shave every other day. Before I fire up the shower I fill my sink with hot water, soaking the mug and brush in it. Then I take my shower, using one of your average everyday body washes and a big puffy thing. Every 4th day, or every other shave, I use the HeadShed before leaving the shower. I dry myself off from the chest down, then retrieve my mug and brush from the water, making sure to leave just a touch of water in the mug. I pump out 2-3 pumps of HeadSlick and work it around the mug to make a good lather. I then apply the lather to my head/face, starting at the top and working my way down. I then get my Sensor Excel and start working on my face. I also use the regular razor to cut in around the ears and at the very back of my neck.
I rework the lather on my head, if necessary, and then start in with the HeadBlade. I shave from front to back, with an additional back-to-front on the back of my head if I'm going for super-smooth. I then feel around for spots I've missed and go over them again before rinsing off with a handful of fresh tap water. After drying off I use a dab of HeadLube if I think I need it.

Godfather,
I have used bump patrol on my face after shaving for a long time now. I just had my first head shave earlier today and used it on my head as well. I truly think this stuff is amazing. Works without a doubt. I would highly recommend anyone with bump problems uses it. Gets rid of them extremely fast.!

I'm a shower shaver, originally used to do it by the sink with shaving foam but used to suffer with razor burn.
Now it goes that I have a hot shower, use an oil, King of Shaves Alphaoil (harder to get hold of headslick in the uk), then shave solely against the grain. Post shaving I use a fairly standard aftershave balm from Boots that seems to make the head feel cooler and makes it more shiny.
I really think that any sort of oil is good on the head just prior to shaving, just a couple of drops seems to lubricate things enough, also the hot shower conditions seem to be better for getting a closer shave. I use a Mach3 blade but am looking to try out the Headblade in the near future.

Get in the shower --- Hot water.
Clean my dome with Cetaphil
Apply HeadSlick Shaving Cream
Shave my dome as best as I can while still in the shower (Fusion ATM)
Step out of the shower, go to the mirror and finish shaving
Step back in the shower, apply a little more Cetaphil to see if dome is completely slick
Pour some cold water over my dome
Step out of the shower and dry myself
Apply Nivea Shaving Cream
Spend the next 5 minutes next to the A/C (it's HOT down here!)

In shower wash head with Apricot scrub. This get rid of any of those loose flakes.Leave shower and wet head with water, then shave with GILLETE GOOD NEWS.For got first apply NIVEA shave gel.Rinse with water then use BALD GUYZ moisture gel.Fast and cheap works for me. I have used the FUSION and QUANTRO there good but for me not worth the price. I have the HEAD BLADE good also but nicks come easy.

When I shave, I get around my ears as well with my Fusion using Tolsum Shaving Gel.
Then I get the rest in the shower using HeadSlick and my HeadBlade.
I scrub my dome down with Tolsum Facial Scrub and dry off.
After drying off, I use Tolsum Aftershave splash and top it off with Tolsum Skin Smoothing Gel for a baby powder smooth feel without the mess!!!

I have two easy methods:
I simply let the hot water in the shower run over my head, put on some Gillette Foamy and shave with the grain . I shave every two days as this saves my skin.
Other times I use my clippers.

Ive tried the headblade and just couldn't get into it feels so awkward and takes longer for me so my current routine is
Shower with warm water
get in front of sink and lather up my head while massaging it a bit (it feels good)
Shave ATG on top and back first, then the sides
Dry off and apply some skin moisturizer
Enjoy my day!
(also applying sunscreen if I know im going to be outside most of the day)

I shave in the shower. I use Equate apricot scrub, apply Headslick shaving cream, use the Headblade and the Fusion for the sides. Takes me about ten minutes. I use the Headlube glossy, however the Walgreens doesn't sell it anymore , I;ve use cocoa butter but I prefer the Headlube. Any suggestions?
