I hate the word "hate" and I'm serious. Everytime you say you hate something it brings out the worst of you. It changes your attitude, makes you angry which shouldn't happen. So hate should NEVER be used.

'COMMITMENT' !!! No no I shouldn't, she might stumble across this site

Not so much a word but certain phrases like 'at the end of the day' come to mind. Especially when people use them too often .

The one that annoys me most is when people use "god" and "damn" together. Very disrepectful of God. I have known people who seemed to feel they had to use it in every sentence. Sometimes I give folks a gentle reminder that "damn" is not His last name.

Great point, Hammer. If you want to curse, then curse your own name.

I agree with Mel. I cannot stand the word " whatever ". Drives me crazy when someone says that to me, especially my daughter as she is always using that word....

i agree with hammer, I dont use the name God very much in that but I have a bad habit of saying Damn it. Caught my youngest daughter one day trying to do something on the computer and it locked up and i heard her say Damn It! she turned and looked at me because she knew it was wrong for her to say and she said sorry daddy. Its my fault, so I didnt punish her but I let her know it isnt right for such a young child to say.

I am amazed nobody like said the word like , like. "I Mean" is like the other most used phrase like in the entire like universe. I mean like come on people, like cant you get a like, life? Like? I mean, like , really!!! Like have you ever heard people start off like every sentence with " I mean"?? AND THEN interject a" you know what I mean?" or a "you know what I'm saying" at the end of every like sentence? so, I mean, like , THAT really irritates me, like you know what I'm saying??? So, in like, summary, i mean, to sum it all up, (you know what i mean?) I dont like superfluous LIKE and the word mean, (you know what I'm like saying?)

I hate it when someone says "Jesus Christ" as an indication of how displeased they are. It is extremely offensive to me
