I just wish if it is going to be this cold, IT WOULD AT LEAST SNOW!  I am missing the "rock packed" snowball fights...lol

Geezz Tim, come here where I live, the ground has been white since November !! No shortage of snow here this year. The skiers and snowmobilers are loving it !!    O0

The temp here in Griffin, GA is going to be 14 tonight and 10 Saturday.  That's pretty cold for GA.  The mountains are going to be 10 tonight and 5-7 on Saturday.

WELL... here in detroit its SO COLD...(you say "how cold is it ?")  its so cold the crime rate is down 40% ! todays HIGH was 6*  and tonight will be -6 with OUT wind chill

Well, just got a call from my school.  No classes today.  With airtemp right now of minus 23 and a wind chill of minus 51 they didn't want the kids walking to school or waiting for buses.   Man, I don't want to see my heating bill after this month.

Really hard to feel too sorry for any of you.  It's minus 21 F here this morning.   Yesterday morning it was minus 40 F just north of here.  Add 30 inches of snow on the ground and a windchill reading of minus 50 and it makes for really invigorating conditions!   (*!@

No way! A couple of cold days in January is a small sacrifice for a great lifestyle.  Beautiful summer days, crisp colorful autumn, low humidity year-round and some of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Houston had a low last night of 32F.  Warming trend for the weekend. Highs in the 60's.  One question-What is snow?

Update:  Forecast high of 35F by next week - that's warmup of 70 degrees in just 4 days!
