Well, thanks everybody for your opinion.
Now, the  result of putting it on my avatar: in general, men like it and say it ROCKS, women (or should I say, girls) don't like it, some have fear (ghaha  :D), others think it's criminally insane (a'ight then  :o), and some say I can't enter their houses anymore (but they are kidding.. I hope ;))

My parents even saw it, and they don't like it either, so that's a bit of a struggle.
Now here's what I decide to do:
I will wait till I got my permanent driver's license, since last time I put a ring into my ear, my dead refused to be "tutor"...
And now if I get shaved, he probably will cancel the new deal again.

I hope you understand.

For those who don't: you can always ask your questions ;)

So, here's why I will wait a couple of months.
Step by step.
Till there's nothing left :p

Wim, welcome.  I have now been sly for about seven weeks.  It took me a few months to actually do it.  Now I wonder why I waited.  I don't think it is possible to understand just how good it feels till you have done it.  I just would not go back to having a bit of hair again, and age is irrelevant.

My advice - don't waste precious time, do it now.  After all, the worst case if you don't like it is to let it grow again.

When I first shaved mine, everybody loved it, my girlfriend, friends, neighbors.no one said anything negative. If you are unsure take your time, play around with the length and see what you like,I am sure being young and shaving your head bald some would question your sanity.Have fun with it.

TimmJ, is it just Friday that's driving you to these abrupt, terse and sharp answers on all the threads this afternoon or are your Red & Whites riding up and squeezing you?

A late welcome to you wim. Just catching up here.

Sounds like you are on your way to sly, but you can do it gradually, as many of us have.
This will allow you and others around you to get used to the new look. Once you do shave, give it the thirty day run so your scalp can get used to the blade.

You may have even done it by now, so if you have, enjoy the new slick and smooth dome!     O0

Thanks! But what exactly is it you mean by saying "a thirty day run"? Once shaven for the first time, not to let it grow again in the first thirty days?

To anyone: I haven't decided yet, since I'm studying for my exams by now, and as you can read somewhere above, I will wait till I got my driver's licence, simply since otherwise my father doesn't want to go and ride with me anymore.
