Hi everyone,
my name is Wim and I have turned eighteen just a few months ago.
Maybe it's early, but I am -indeed- already getting bald "by nature".
I can deal with it, but since I saw a performance of Live's frontman Ed Kowalczyk, I've been wondering how a completely bald head should look...
I like to be a bit "different" to other people, just not being the typical youngster...
At this very moment, I'm not exactly considering, but just wondering how it should look...
To help me imagine, I edited a picture I took with my webcam, I'll upload it so you guys can have a look.

Let me know what you think of it! (though I can guess already)

Welcome to the Forum WIM! I think you will look great with a shaved head. Your photo work clearly shows that. 

As for being differnt...... well, we are everywhere you know.

Amazed by the very soon reactions, I must say, I don't really hesitate WHETER I should do it, but more WHEN I will do it
It's just my age that adds a little weirdness to it: normally, 18yo people don't shave their head... Or maybe it's just in the vicinity here.
But, as I said, it's not about being different at all, that's what ROCKS .
It's more about the step to take.
I know I will wait a couple of months, but i DO also know, that I won't regret it once I've done it.

I hear ya...but just like you said, it is unique...yet a lot more accepted...

why not stand out for those around you...really isn't it better and what we strive for anyways..

personally I think you've got a bit of a rocker edge to ya...and believe it or not shaving your head WILL give you more of that look!

Don't over think it..it really is only hair...

and you may actually like your looks MORE once you're totally bald !

Good, very good.  Now or a few months won't make any difference except that you're going to continue to agonize over this the entire time--and we don't enjoy watching anyone doing that when we know 1) you obviously want to shave it off and rid yourself of male pattern baldness, 2) you know how you'll look and it's good, 3) and it's a well considered change in your appearance, i.e. the smart thing to do.  You've got MPB, now it's just a few minutes away from, to borrow your term, God's Will!  Get to the Blade!
