Some of these phrases that mean different things in different countries can be dangerous. The summer I turned 19 I spent three weeks with my uncle in Ireland. His wife's niece was staying there at the same time. One night we were making plans for someplace we were going the next morning. The niece asked me if I would come and knock her up in the morning after I'd gotten up. Only we both had different interpretations of what that phrase meant.

What's it like in Ireland, RazorX? I've always wanted to go there. Some of my ancestors came over from Ireland right after the potato phamon.
