His wife's niece was staying there at the same time. One night we were making plans for someplace we were going the next morning. The niece asked me if I would come and knock her up in the morning after I'd gotten up. Only we both had different interpretations of what that phrase meant.

Beautiful country, great scenery, wonderful people, fairly wet climate and plenty of pubs.
