I am sitting here drinking a cup of hot green tea as we speak.  I do not like it cold or iced.

Neither do I.  I've tried green tea a few times and I just can't get into it.  It's like drinking boiled grass clippings.  Give me a good strong cup of black tea with just a splash of milk any old day.

I understand the water in Boston Harbor still tastes like tea.

As a proper Bostonian in exile, I would ask you to be nice to us Bostonians <G>.  Seriously, though, I drink primarily coffee.  However, when I did live in Boston, it was the Irish immigrants that all drank tea, including the men; (when they weren't at the pubs having a pint).  Right now, both a nice hot cup of tea AND a pint sound good to me, (just not together of course).
Attitude is everything!

starbucks: I HATE Starbucks.  Big mugs of coffee that taste like !!&%$!! (just my opinion of course!) ;)  But yeah: Starbucks is taking Britain over! :D

I am a proper Bostonian in exile.  I only get to return to my local habitat about once a year in July.  I hate Starbucks.  Instead, I have my contacts in the Boston area who send me Dunkin Donuts coffee beans at a discount <G>.

They seem to be doing pretty well (until recently) for a company nobody likes, don't they?  The problem goes way beyond Starbucks, but doesn't it just seem like everywhere you go anymore, everything looks exactly the same?  You see the same shops in every mall, street, etc., no matter what country you're in.  It's getting harder and harder to find things that are unique to certain places.  :(

Yeah: over here it really seemed to start with Mc Donald's and KFC, but now everywhere seems to have the same shops and cafes etc.  Nearly every town here has a Woolworth's, Boots, Starbucks, etc etc.  It used to be that you could visit a place and get a whole lot of unique local shops but that's not really the case any longer and it's a real shame :'(

You guys don't have Tim Hortons do you? We have more of those than Starbucks here in Canada

I tried Tim Hortons in RI, when I was passing through this past July.  I didn't care for their coffee either  :-(

I use to be big into 7-11 coffee.  Tried Starbucks a few times.  Yuck.  Then gave Dunkin Doughnuts a try.  Pretty good stuff I have to admit.  Especially getting the whole bean like you mentioned.   O0

I love my tea.

Like to try all different kinds of loose leaf tea. Found a smashin speciality tea shop in Stockholm last time I was there. Bougt gunpowder tea. Anyone tried it?

I drink my tea really strong which stains my teeth. Last time I was at the dentist he asked if I was a smoker.

Still love my tea tho
