I think I mentioned this before in another thread. We are having peacock. I managed to fatten 3 up real nice, I had them on double the protein that they normally get. I got the biggest one up to 21 lbs and the smallest was 17 lbs.

I have to say that I have never heard of anybody eating peacock!   Does is taste like chicken?  That's what they say about everything else.

As for my Thanksgiving, I am taking my stepmother over to my stepbrother's house.  His wife does her turkey well.  But she also adds a middle eastern flair to it since she is of Lebanese desecent.  She adds pine nuts to the stuffing.  It just adds a great texture to it.

But on Christmas eve, I will be having people over to my place for Christmas Eve dinner as my company gives away organically grown turkeys at Christmas.  YUM!!!!!!!!!  I cooked on the first time last year and it turned out great!!!!
