Ok...my daughter has been struggling in some aspects of school so we turn off the TV, etc. and work together on her studies. And what happens when she is done?

WHAM...the phone starts ringing one right after another from BOYS.........Its like these guys have ESP or something? Any of you sly brothers have the same thing happen with your daughters??? Same thing on weekends..I swear its like they know when she gets out of bed!!

Fortunately my daughter is only 4 years old. I feel for you though man. I certainly don't relish the day that she starts getting calls. Will keep my shotgun nearby.

Wow hammerdrill376, i wish you the best in dealing with that. I hope you can be the one to help your daughter find her Prince Charming in the midst of so many wolves.
A while back I got a call from my ex-wife telling me she had found out our 19 yr old daughter had a boyfriend from her church, but had kept it a secret from us. Neither of us could understand why, she's old enough to have a boyfriend if she wants. But I cant be too upset with her, after all, she's my Princess, Daddy's only "little" girl.

GOING THRU IT NOW BRO! YOu know where you mentioned that it seems like they know when she gets out of bed....well got news for ya. My daughter thought she outsmarted us. She had her phone on vibrate and was gettting calls early in the morning from her friends and boyfriends. She would turn the ringer on only when she thought we figured she was awake. She isnt allowed to ever have her phone on vibrate unless it is neccessary. She has been threatened....IT WILL BE TAKEN AWAY!

My daughter is 18 and lives with my ex so I don't get to see her too often.
I took her out somewhere in the summer on the bike and we stopped at a pub for lunch. When I got back to our table after ordering food and drink at the bar I found 2 young lads chatting her up. They looked up at me and muttered apologies and left sharpish. I didn't say word!
She thought they were cute and funny. Trouble is I can remember what I was like at that age.

Girls are different and special. They can simultanously chat by MSN, talk via Skype, use their mobile and have the telephone on room-speaker. Their school-somethings are in between.
Our boys are 28, 25 and 22 years old, our daughter 18. She has a nice BF - it's a pleasure to see them happy.
To have children and live with them - it's God's biggest gift!!!!!
