hello fellow chrome domes:  i wanted 2 start a topic on "THINGS  U say in your "mind" when U C a horrible combover, horseshoe (google: ron howard), skullet, or toupee".  i'll start:  when i  c  those things... i immediately laugh & yell out...DUDE... embrace your baldness!!!... in my "mind" of course.   thank goodness people can't read minds (right?)   so... how 'bout U?  what do U say in your "mind" when U C these "things"?

In recent years, i've seen less and less combovers.  However, I saw one yesterday, and just thought, "this must be a very stubborn man".  And i thought about how great he'd look if he just shaved it off.  It almost felt like watching a mouse in a maze... you can see the finish, and want to show him where to go, but he must find the cheese on his own

Here is the exact thought that usually enters my head as soon as I see one of these guys:

The other day I was walking past this guy, a very unfortunate specimen of MPB with a weird combover/combforward thing going on. He was staring at my dome and I totally wanted to just stop and tell him, "Just do it man, you know you want to. It looks better this way and I know you're nervous but its the best thing you can do. I know this website, there are people there that can help..."

And it would continue from there, almost like an intervention if you will.

OK here you go guys.  Going thru Security at Miami International Airport...there is this guy checking passports.  My wife nudges me and says ...Get a load of that dudes rug.  I was liek I know I already saw it.  It was TERRIBLE.    Didnt even match his eyebrows or beard.  He was only like in his mid 40's Well as we approached him closer...his name badge hangin around his neck and this dude had a few scraggly hairs and a full beard in his pic.  I started to chuckle and he noticed because he looks at me and says..."Oh thats nice...Really Nice...thanks ALOT DUDE!  At least I have hair! "  Im like What you talkin about ?  Oh dont give me that line MR BATEMAN ...Women love a man with hair.  My wife spoke up and she said...Well sorry Honey but not this wife...and she patted me on the head and we walked thru the Metal Detector..lol

Tim, it seems that the common phrase for the dudes in denial is "atleast I have hair".  Whether its a rug or a combover.

i wish i could come up with a manly way to convince them the combover is dead . my dad is the worst, start with a wet comb at the right ear and comb to the left.he recently ask me about buzzing his hair i said it was a good start hopefully he'll try it
