Bald Guyz Ultimate Shave Gel
Kiss My Face
Billy Jealousy Hydroplane
HeadBlade HeadSlick

All very good products for shaving that you may be able to find locally. You may also want to consider a double edge razor (the old style). Some people who experience problems shaving with multi-blade cartridge razors really love them. I use one for my face but use the HeadBlade for my head.

Ok, here is the latest update.
Today I shaved with Mach 3 again and was successful at shaving against the grain at the back, well almost successful.  My secret....dumb one but seriously a shaving brush!! I use the brush to put Gilette Series Gel on my hair.  To go against the grain at the back I tried to hold my skin carefully as it is too loose.
I have 2 questions I hope someone can answer:
(1) In my crown area I could feel that some places there is no hair due to hair loss.  There is a spot right in the middle, separated from the rest.  Any tips on how to shave that? :)  I don't shave it too well because I usually get warning signs from my razor that the regions around without hair will get cut the next time I go over it again.  The Mach 3 blade is too large for that little crown area.

(2) I was at shoppers Drug Mart yesterday and was so happy to see they have headslick.  I was not afraid to smile when I saw the product.  I hear all these rumours on how good it is.  Has anyone tried headslick with Mach 3, and will I still be able to use my shaving brush (because I kind of like it now, the fingers don't do as good of a job)?   Thanks to all.

I'm not sure I understand.  Just start at the nape of the neck and run the razor straight up over the crown.  It doesn't make any difference if you've got a lot of hair in some spots and very little in others.

I use Headslick with the Mach III.  It doesn't really lather up as much as gels in aerosol cans.  Not sure how the brush would work with it, but I really don't think you need the brush.  A small amount of Headslick goes a long way and it's pretty easy to spread it all over your dome with your hand.

Ok, sweet I will try the brush with headslick.

RazorX I sort of feel a difference between the spots with lots of hair and those with little amount.
Maybe I'm not experienced enough.  I will try again the next time I shave and hopefully this time the spots with secluded hair will be as easy.

What kind of shaving gel are you using?  A good quality gel can help reduce irritation to your skin.

Ok here is my latest update.........this should help anyone visiting this site who may have the same problem.

But now that I read back what RazorX said.........damn it!!!!!   Razorx it's not that a good quality gel can help "reduce irritation"...........it ELIMINATES IRRITATION COMPLETELY.

I used bald guys shave gel yesterday and I had no problem shaving against the grain at the back of my head.
Also, the crown area that I complained about was very easy to deal with.   So, I guess a good quality gel makes a significant difference.    I have also noticed that a good shave gel helps to prolong the life of a blade.   With gillette shave gel I could only use one mach 3 blade for 3 shaves, or else I would get cuts and irritation.  Not with bald guys shave gel..............I used my mach 3 blade that I had used 3 times previously and no problem.
Anyway, sorry for repeating some stuff I mentionned elsewhere but I hope this helps those who go through the same problem.
