I sure miss the good old days.....
I agree: they WERE the good old days
Growing up in the 60's and 70's was good!
I was born in 1970, but I remember a lot of what that says.
We were never inside and rarely watched TV. I know I am on the far end of that time frame, but a lot of it applied to me as well.
Good Stuff and very true.
I was born in 87, and that just about mirrors my childhood

Now I really DO feel old!
I tell my wife "I'm a 25 year old trapped in a 37 year old body".
Thanks skiking! No really, thanks.

My childhood was probably the exception, most of my friends that I have now weren't as lucky as I was
Let's give our children a happy childhood and youth-time!!!!!!!!!!

YOUTH TIME??? YOUTH TIME! Todays YOUTH time...is already all about them. Everything caters to them....they have their time.

Timmy, you sound a little cranky this morning.....lol
I'm almost certain Tom's nostalgic post has made it's way to this site before. If memory serves me right it was in reference to the Bucky Covington song, "A Different World".
I did a site search and discovered it was RazorX that first posted this tidbit of nostalgia. Thanks RazorX and thanks Tom for appreciating the good old days. Life was simpler and sweeter and there was no such thing as stress.
nahhh i am not cranky...its my kids who were cranky. They expect you to do this and that. How hard is it for a 15 year to put two slices of bread in a toaster??? Thats my point. lol
