Before and After Bald Pics

The first before pic is from October of last year and is a good example of the kind of hairstyle I have had most of my life.
Since I am thinning in the front, over time, I have had to style my hair more carefully to create the illusion of fullness.

The second before pic is from last November.  I grew some facial hair and buzzed my hair down to a #4 guard.
I was surprised to see how much thinner it had become since the last time I buzzed it.

My after pic is my avatar (I shaved my head last week).

Dude, the bald, sly look gives you more of an 'edge"....nice move!

To be perfectly honest, the main thing that's important is that I like it sly and therefore project this higher confidence, which can only be a good thing.

I also see it that those who don't like it, thats fine, there are (and I KNOW there are) women out there who do like the bald look and it's sites like this that remind me of that.

I will be sticking around for some time and hope to gradually get to know all of you.

OMG, Dan.  It was definitely time to shave.  You looked way older than your years in those pictures.  Kudos to you to have the guts to take care of what Mother Nature dealt to you.  Again, if there was a top 10 before and after section, you would have my vote to make it in the top 5.  What an improvement.

Hi guys (and gals),

Im new to this forum and think that its great to see so many of you sharing tips, encouraging each other and generally having good old friendly banter.

I still get a few people say I looked better with hair, but what they can't seem to get their head around is that I had no choice!... sure I could go with the whole monk look... but didn't really want to... made me look to old (Im only 23)!

What do you guys think? honest opinions please....

PS. Im very drunk in all the pictures (only live once!)

I know it's hard to evaluate one's own appearance objectively, but you shouldn't even have to ask this question.   Sly wins hands-down; it's a real no-brainer.

I have the same frontal-balding hairloss pattern and I honestly do not think anybody looks good with a hairline that is that receded.  Buzzing it short makes it look better but doesn't solve the problem.  Going completely sly is the only fix.  Your avatar pic is a HUGE improvement.  Stay slick and never look back.

Wow, bro , big change! You look good with hair, but i think goin' the bald sly route, give you more of an edge...plus now you don't look like you just got off the set of "The Breakfast Club"!

Did you ever get the Judd Nelson reference when you had hair?

Gotta tell you the Aussie's hounded me and the wife on our honeymoon and some of the other times we went to OZ... I get the Andre Agassi thing....,a lot...

In fact  took pictures with a  middle eastern couple ( I told them I wasn't , but they insisted)
A barbershop quartet in the "Rocks" area kept harrassing me with "Agassi" songs everythime I pass, funny
A girl practically ran over her baby repeating the words...you're him, you're him!"
and lots of mentions almost everywhere we went...

it was pretty fun!

Man that before pic was taken just after I got done swimming.LOL .It is weird you say it Andre because I ALWAYS got the Judd Nelson look a like reference in high school and afterwards.   I can never see it but it seems I hear it alot.
I can see the Agassi resemblance absolutley. I can imagine what you would have gone through with it, he is a revered status in OZ, they are tennis mad. HAHA. Did you like the Rocks? I've had many a pub crawl there over the years. Did you go to the Lowenbrau,the big German pub there? Last year I was kicked out of there and banned from entering the premises for 5 years for attempting to steal a big beer Stein out of the establishment after a big night out .HAHA

Well, if you ever got sick of the Judd Nelson reference I would say you shaved that reference off ..forever! you still do resemble him, but not so much no that you're bald.

So, it makes sense that i got the agassi reference HUGE there,,, I get it here, but it was crazy over there, fun though. Me and the wife LOVED the rocks area! We only had a few oints, not too much out of control...we were there on St. Patty's day (on  a layover)...the town was going nuts....at 2:00pm...Sunday session, you know! I love the whole Sunday session vibe!

Banned and you didn't even get the Stein as a trophy...did they say get the *f* out of here, you "Cepo"!
