The first before pic is from October of last year and is a good example of the kind of hairstyle I have had most of my life.
Since I am thinning in the front, over time, I have had to style my hair more carefully to create the illusion of fullness.

The second before pic is from last November.  I grew some facial hair and buzzed my hair down to a #4 guard.
I was surprised to see how much thinner it had become since the last time I buzzed it.

My after pic is my avatar (I shaved my head last week).

Hi guys (and gals),

Im new to this forum and think that its great to see so many of you sharing tips, encouraging each other and generally having good old friendly banter.

I still get a few people say I looked better with hair, but what they can't seem to get their head around is that I had no choice!... sure I could go with the whole monk look... but didn't really want to... made me look to old (Im only 23)!

What do you guys think? honest opinions please....

PS. Im very drunk in all the pictures (only live once!)

PPS. The pic with me in a black shirt was taken New years eve just gone, the others were the summer before.

Seriously....100% better...you do look OLD in the pictures...especially the last one....you look more fit and WAY clean in your avatar!

Don't listen to what others say that AREN't in your shoes...you had the b@lls at an early age to face the facts and just shave off what was left of your hair's former glory.....

Keep it SLY brutha...bald looks good one you....

and remember it's fun to keep people 'guessin' and askin' why you shave your head....tell them becasue YOU like having a bald head...not because you have no other options!! 8)

Welcome Baldan..you've found the right place for good tips and support..without question the sly look fits you great and so much better than the monk look.
