Shaved it today

So I've been contemplating this head shaving thing.  I have a full head of hair, though slightly thinning on top.  I cropped it quite short this summer, but I've been really itching to do it for a while, but I find it less common to see sly asian guys.

After hesitating for a few weeks, I started to really wonder what I was afraid of.  I won't lie, I have my insecurities and I know I'm going to stick out at certain crowds for going sly, but don't give a ****.  Hair doesn't make the man, and nothing worse in life than following the herd and being afraid of being different.

So after my shower after an afternoon run, I was shaving my facial hair - then I looked up and grinned at myself in the mirror as I held the blade in my hand.  Next thing, I lathered my head and just did the deed.

My head felt numb, but damn is the skin ever soft up there!

Thanks for the welcome :)

Once I started contemplating going sly - I was bothered about the anxiety and fear that crept up inside.  The more I thought of it, the more I knew I had to try it.  I thought I had a pretty badly shaped head, and it isn't perfect by any means, but I can live with it.

It's funny how just the simple act of shaving your head can make you feel like a different person.

For anyone contemplating it.. Nothing to fear, but yourself.  It's only hair, but if you're like me and already thinking about it, do yourself a favor and just do it. :)

Hello dude,

Really rare to see Asian people showing off their bald head but then I started to think about Tibet monks, and the more religious Asian people, you often see them with shaved or bald heads.

Not only is the skin soft, it's WARM. lol My head is always letting off this heat.
