That just reminded me of a cousin of one of my mates. she lives in USA and has just recently been widowed after nearly sixty years marriage. she's 78, and last year, when her husband died, she had her hair cut short, as she'd been wanting to do all her married life. Her late husband hated her wearing it short, so she waited all those years before she did what SHE wanted. Seems pretty sad it took her husbands death before she was 'brave' enough to do it.
So don't live in fear. It really is better to live one day as a lion than a lifetime as a mouse!
