Another Newbie

Hi guys... I'm MikeyDude (MD) and I just went from hair down to the middle of my back to baby's butt bald last night.

I gotta tell ya, I'm scared poop-less about facing some of my friends, but here I am.

Wow, quite the transition. I bet your a big Lee Marvin fan...

you can pretty much bank on getting some ribbing from friends but way to clear cut the forest... post some before and after pics.

Dude, you did the right thing going straight to slick bald...

having real long hair and going to a regular haircut would not satisfy your "long hair attitude"..

bald will bro...I've known 3 dudes in your shoes...one went right for it bald...the others worked their way and ended up bald as a cueball...

and loved it way better than the longhair!

Okay, I just found this site and had to join.  I have been wanting to take the leap for a long time and finally did it last week.  The first day or two was wild--lots of looks and WTF questions, but after the initial shock--no one pays it a bit of attention.  Oh and most of the responses have been positive.  I'm a 32 yr old EMT and an educator, so  have had lots of public comments.  I was told my "intimidation factor" went up sveral points.  Mom of course hates it, but go figure.  After the first week I was trying to decide to let it grow back out or stick with it.  I finally decided to stick with the slick look!  At least make everyone guess how much hair I actually ahve left! 

Anyway, 

Glad to have found this site!
