Hmmmm, well, I'm with Bell, but that doesn't help either of you cause you'd have non stop roaming charges since you both live in the US.

So what's youz guyz problem with Verizon? I've found that like the cable TV and Internet providers, your cell phone provider is eventually gonna piss you off. So you change and the next provider pisses you off.
Maybe I've just become complacent in my old age.

I've been a VZ customer for years. Yeh, there have been some times that I've been pissed at them, but I've been pissed at Direct TV as well. My neighbor has Sprint and he has trouble getting a signal in his own house.
What have they done to piss you guys off?

my problem is that they messed my plans up and charged us over $800 in fees in which we normally pay only $119 for three lines with unlimited everything..ie..calling, texting and ect. so we have this huge credit of $800 but they still want $300 because for some odd reason they havent credited our account. I have been a customer of theirs for over 5 years and never had a problem until the last 2 months. All of this started with their mistake and I just told them that they offered us a credit...but they are finding piddly sh*t to charge us for so they get their money back. So who is really getting a credit here?

?? Im signing up with AT&T/Cingular today...i just found out they will pay my contract fee to just get us as a customer.

people always told me that verizon will mess with your bill. I ignored it...and have been for the last year or so, cause they never once tried to mess with our bill. NOW all of a sudden our bill goes from $119.00 to over $800 because they put us on a wrong plan...

has trouble getting a signal in his own house.
That's my biggest bitch about Verizon! My original Razr phone worked fine inside of my house. Then it got stolen and VZ replaced it with a "new" Razr. The new one processes calls diferently then the original and now after changing out the phone 2 more times, VZ says my house is in a "marginal signal area" and there is nothing they can do until the new tower they are building, just 2000 feet away from my home, becomes active. VZ says they don't know when that will be.
The nice thing is that they are letting me out of my contract without penalty.

ATT has a tower 10,000 feet from my home. In case you were wondering.

As a Verizon customer I have been very lucky then and had no problems. CHARTER ON THE OTHER HAND, has mess my account requiring me to be on the phone for 2 1/2 hours each (maybe they are in league with Verizon) talking to rude people in every country but our own. I have two accounts, they have credited the wrong account twice, refusing to switch payments, and then had the guts to charge a late fee for the other account that should have received the payment. Thank out sourcing for this mess. BTW it was only after getting customer service from our good neighbors in Ontario that the mess got cleared up.

I'll second this. I've been with AT&T since January. I've been basically happy with the service. Do NOT, however, purchase your phone from them online. They made a royal mess of that and it took a lot of time on hold with them to get it straightened out. I posted about it at the time, if you feel like looking for it. Other than that, the service has been fine. I did recently have some problems with my phone, but they sent me a new one as it was still under warranty.

I think they are all a pain in the butt at one time or another.
