I love the eastern Carolina style BBQ..... I even managed to get my Uncle's secret recipe for his sauce last year at the family reunion. Folks have been trying to pry it out of him for 25 years. He and i were just standing around talking about BBQ and he suddenly said," Do you want my sauce recipe?" I was floored and said yes. Before he gave it to me he swore me to absolute secrecy.

I hate anything 'California Spa'.
You know what I mean, a small serving of meat or fish placed on a huge bed of salad... and avocado. Yuk.

Give me a huge cholesterol laden pastrami sandwich from PKD.
A bowl of vegetable matzo ball soap, Dr Brown Cel-ray tonic, and a kasha knish. Yum

Home made biscuits w/ bacon gravy. Carolina Pork BBQ. The Polish/Czech specialties of Cleveland and Youngstown.

And like Senor Robmeister, Mexican food is my true parish. Anything and everything that is Mexican or inspired I will devour with a vengeance.

Combined with Habanero chillies and Ice Cold Sol beer, and you have my last meal.

I love mexican food, I always carry my bottle of Dave's Insanity sauce with me so I can make it like the surface of the sun.

                 These are al favorites of mine too! You and I could kill some east coast buffets! I love the heat of habaneros but don't care for the taste.... i like scotch bonnets taste better. But hey!!! I wouldn't turn down those habaneros!!!

Carolina BBQ is great and you can't beat some biscuts and gravey with a side of corned beef hash

When I was in Milwaukee I was introduced to Cheese Curds - yum, yum!  and some local beer, can't remember the name of it, looked German I believe. 
Down here in the south, head to the coast of GA of SC and get some shrimp 'n grits. 
And of course, there are the great BBQ places down here on dirt roads that the health dept doesn't even know about - talk about good eatin'.....
