The Oakleys are really cool.  I've always like their optics, but had bad luck with their plastic frames.  Yours are metal, right?  Just ordered a pair of Von Zipper Shams.  Hope I'll like them.  Like yourself, I usually buy nice sunglasses and keep them for years.  I'm getting ready to sell off some of my old ones on eBay.  The oldest ones I've had since 1988.

I ordered a dozen from X-Loop USA. I got steered onto these by Madturk. They are decent shades, total out to about $3.50 a pair. I lose 'em and break 'em so I'd rather trash a pair of $3.50 shades than a pair of hundred dollar Gargoyles. I have  couple of nice pairs of Gargoyles and a pair of RayBan Aviators with cable temples that I wear f I'm just going out somewhere but if the possibility of tossing a football or shooting a few hoops exists I'm wearing the Loops.

Not a dumb question at all. The glasses are the same style but will have a mix of frame colors and lens tints including some that are mirrored. They also sell a package that includes 12 different styles but I figured if I bought one of those they would all be the styles that everybody hates.

This thread inspired me to get another pair. The shades in my avatar are my prescription sunglasses (which I love). My only other pair is a pair of Oakley M Blades. They're a few years old, but they're still in mint condition (you tend to take good care of something that costs a little more). So, I was cruising around our local Kohl's and found a pair of "Relic" brand glasses. Reg. $30, on sale for $15. They're lightweight, durable, and if something happens to them, no sweat.

f**k, I CAN'T GET THE PHOTOBUCKET THING TO WORK.

I have two pairs: one for my car, one for the motorcycle. They're both Walgreen specials that are designed to fit over regular glasses. That way, I can actually still see while I'm driving. I've always thought that was a good idea.

Those are some sweet Oakleys James!

I have a bunch of pairs from years ago. They don't look as good as the newer styles now.
