Alright here is what happened. One of the 3 i'm not terribly close to yet, so I didn't ask her(she's less chatty than the other two/more tough chic ish).
Anyways, thursday morning I came in to say thank you for a thank you card one of them sent me(and I sort of know when to expect them there). I told her I had a christmas present for her and she chuckled. I said I have all my stuff, and that I wanted her to shave my head. I explained that I would do all the prep(the warm water/cream or gel) and I had either my electric or the mach 3 that she could use.
She laughed but said sure. It took about 15-20 minutes, and she giggled more when customers either were leaving finishing tanning and saw what was happening, or when people entered the store. She enjoyed it though. And it was relaxing for me, plus she did a nice job(and saved me a day of doing it). However, this chick loved changing her own hair colors, etc, so it's not a terribly big shock she was way cool with the concept.
The next day I came in the afternoon/evening, when the other one who had sent me a thank you card for tanning was working. She had paperwork to do, but she could have spared 10-15 minutes(she told me as much). I asked her much the same way I did the previous one and she said "I'm not shaving your head." I asked her if we weren't at work if she would, and she still said no.
And as I said, the 3rd one hasn't sent a thank you note nor is very talkative, so I haven't gotten to know her as well, so I decided not to bother on that front at the present time.
I didn't chicken out, I still like the idea, and I told one of my fellow leaders at my church that when we are doing charity stuff that one of the auction items in the future could be someone shaving my head. Heck, i'll probably let my sister do it one of these days while she's home for break.
It doesn't bother me in the least to let someone else do it, as long as i'm not paying them money to do so.

That's awesome David!! I think I know which one you should focus your efforts on if you planned on focusing your efforts toward any of the three.I didn't chicken out, I still like the idea, and I told one of my fellow leaders at my church that when we are doing charity stuff that one of the auction items in the future could be someone shaving my head. Yep, you're from the south.
I think that joke went over my head unless it's about the sister part. If that's the case, our youth minister at the church and his family are from arkansas, and we rag on them about the whole brother being your cousin thing. In texas, not so much.

I'm not going to knock AR too bad. I think all 10 hot girls from that state went to my university. And they were SMOKIN' HOT!

They had to have atleast book smarts to get in, so I would say that there was some there. Though, the school didn't have a perfect filter...I got in! -

They had to have atleast book smarts to get in, so I would say that there was some there. Though, the school didn't have a perfect filter...I got in!
I think it was Winston Churchill who said, "I would never be part of a club who would have me as a member" What was the university thinking Tyler? Maybe trying to meet a minority requirement. -

Sorry David, i'm curious, how would that be a Christmas present letting them shave your head? Would women there get some sort of thrill out of that or what? Sorry, i'm just not getting it.

Well for one thing, it shows I trust them enough/feel good enough about them to let them do it(outside of two trips to the barber, I had always done the job myself) Sure it was off the wall, but these girls were my age, and at 22-23 we don't really care. It was just for fun really, but since it occurred right around christmas I called it a present(for both me and them). They also both had sent me a thank you card for tanning, and I thought this would be a fun way to say thank you. At the very least interesting.
Secondly, a lot of wifes/girlfriends shave their guys heads. It can be quite an interesting/sensual experience. A lot of women enjoy rubbing the shaved head as well. There are guys here who have significant others do it for them. Back to the story though, The one who accepted, thoroughly enjoyed it. The one who didn't, I gave a self picture I had made instead.
I'm not going to randomly do that with people I don't know, but like I already told my fellow youth church leader that at our next auction, i'd be willing to grow out hair, and let people bid on shaving my head as an auction item.

Hey Guyz just wanted to put my 2 cents in....I am a first time poster and am glad I finally found a place to hang.....I used to keep what little hair i had cropped close and it was cool and everything but then I was tired of going to the barber and figured why not (also my life was changing as my wife of 21 years gets ready to toss me out, says she does not love me anymore...lol....whatever....) so I decided to shave it all off and it has been the best decision of my life....I am loving it.....
David...the tanning salon sounds great and that one lady sounds fine for agreeing to shave it for you...... -
