NYC Sly Guy
« on: January 27, 2008, 12:51:01 PM »
Greetings all from Brooklyn!

I went bald four years ago to support a friend who was going through her second bout of colon cancer and got so many compliments on the look that I kept it.  Decided that I wanted to see what I looked like with hair again sometime last year and regrew it, went blonde, all the good stuff.

Well, fate intervened and sent me back to the land of the sly guys...thanks to one inept Polish barber (or perhaps hse jsut didn't understand what I asked for???) one accidental slice of the clippers took out a nice size chunk of hair.  She looked shocked and couldn't hide what she had done so I told her to take it all off and I would do the rest at home with the razor.

And voila....back in the game again.....

Hey bro, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

LOL thanks guys.....considering I was a platinum blonde before this morning it's definitely a change.....my roommate took one look at me and the wide eyed look told me it made an impression.....

Now all I need it to strap on the camouflage kilt and my doc martens, and hit the road!
