The thing I miss most about the '90s was the television shows.

So Cal punk rock circa 1993-1999 Strung Out,Pennywise,NUFAN,Lagwagon,No Fun at All(from Sweden but still played it well).

I graduated from high school in 1994, the 90's were quite good to me, i lived in Germany from 1994 to 1996, i watched a bunch of movies at the movie theatre when i had free time, i watched about 300 movies the whole time i lived in germany, i also liked the music, the hip/hop and the alternative rock, i actually listen to all types of music, the only music i dont listen to is ccountry/western.
The fashion was a lot better than the 80's. i do consider myself an 80's kid, i was born in 1976

the 90's were great, I was young, dumb and full of... coming into my own and really getting to know myself. The dichotomy of being in a fairly popular band and having tons of fun and being faced with MPB at a young age... I grew up in so many ways in the 90's.

Now I am able to reap the benefits of those years.

The new millennium has been great as well but the good times are far more refined, quality not quantity type of thing.

As a kid I remember watching the pre-SLY 90's Howie Mandel show, "Bobby's World" on Fox every Saturday morning.

I am so OLD!  Graduated high school in 1988, went to x-ray school in 1990, graduated in 1992 in July and got married in August.  Established my career and lived the decade with just my wife and me.  We had our first child in 2001.  Just between us guys.....we had some fertility issues, so most of the decade was filled with "practice".

I knew after about 3 months of dating my wife.  Met her in august of 90, engaged 1 week before Christmas, married in 92....yes we had a long engagement...but wasnt because of doubts....schooling and getting established was priority.   Then....13 months later...I was a daddy.

I know there was a thread about the 80's.
So I thought I start the New Year off with a thread about the 90's,
for all our young dudes here at the SBG.
What are the things you fondly remember or want to forget?

I'll initiate this thread by asking you to
identify this former 90's mop head who is now a SLY brutha.

Why does he look so much older in that picture?  He can't be a whole lot more than 30, but he looks a lot more "mature" in that photo for some reason.
