The one time I really tend to notice the 18 to 20 year olds is when I'm at the supermarket, because they are usually the ones manning the cash register.  There's one place in particular, where I always leave feeling irritated because they always ask if I need help carrying my groceries to my car, even if the only thing I bought was a half-gallon of milk!   What am I, 99 years old?  Obviously, they've been instructed to make this offer of assistance to everyone, but come on!   :/O   One of these days I'm going to respond that I'm not so old and decrepit that I can't manage to carry a half-gallon of milk by myself.   :Xo!

Then they'll ask each other, "what was with that cranky old dude?"   :P
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

I believe the media and clothing brands try to make people feel "old" at 25. Virtually all products these days are squarely aimed at the 14-24 year old age bracket. Hell I am 27 and I work in a call centre, most of my co-workers are late teens or early 20's with the exception of management.

I have always been the youngest person in any office that I've worked in.  I would have thought that would have changed by this stage of the game, but I'm still the youngest (though barely) and I remind them of it every chance I get.   >:D

Most of my friends are at least a year older than me as well -- just the way things worked out, so I'm kind of used to being the youngest person in the group.   One night a few months ago, I was at a bar with my one friend, and he remarked that he felt old because of the crowd we were in, which was mostly college age.  I hadn't even noticed.  In my mind, I just think of myself as slightly older than college-age people, though in reality the age difference is more than "slight".   And I'm sure they look at me and think I'm a dinosaur.   ;D  I just haven't reached the stage yet where I see people younger than me and think of them as kids -- though I did take my dog to the vet last week and was attended to by what looked like the veterinary equivalent of Doogie Howser.   :(

Probably.  But I do think asking somebody who is getting around without any difficulties if they need help to carry a single small item is as stupid as when establishments card people who are obviously in their 50s and above.   ;D

At the moment everybody is all nostalgic about the 80's.
You want to know why nobody gives a **** about the 90s?

The Fluro Tracksuit
They were bright enough to make you go temporally blind and you could here the sound of someone wearing these track suits 500 meters away e.g. Swish … swish … swish … swish.

Batman Forever and Batman & Robin
Big Name Actors doesn’t = Good Movie. That’s all I have to say on why I don’t miss these two movies of the 90's

The Mullet
Let’s face it we all don’t miss the mullet but back in the 90's it was the fashion. today there are still some people who think the fashion will come back those people are most likely the ones living on the streets asking you for a dollar every time you walk by them.

Pokemon
came out in 1996 and hung around for ages probably still is around. The reason I don’t miss this from pokemon the 90s is that well clearly it was gay I mean as if there wasn’t some interspecies erotica going on between Ash and Pikachu maybe even that misty chick joined in to. I also think the show encouraged greed and cruelty to animals or pokemon or wtf ever I mean the motto is "gotta catch em all" so I can put them into my little red balls and throw them at people.

The Saying "Party like it's 1999!"
The thing was, in 1999 the party wasn't much bigger than it had been any other year. it was exactly the same. The only thing that was different was people were freaking out about Y2K, so to party like its 1999 means you're gonna party all the same, but have a slight fear of the world ending.

Korn Having Hits
Freak On a Leash. That other one. Badly spelled bands names were all the rage. Korn were king with video clips of slow mo bullets and cartoon girls and being all cool and edgy.
What made Korn worse is my friends played Korn constantly. My friends LOVED Korn. They were fourteen. They played Mario on the 64 and listened to Korn. Yeah, that’s Hardcore.

South Park Quotes
When South Park was big. IE: What Family Guy is now. You couldn’t last an hour, let alone a day, without some lame loser quoting something completely out of context and thinking it was hilarious.

Peter Luck
Peter Luck. Good ol’ Peter “Fill In On Today Tonight Over The Summer” Luck. My favourite thing about Peter Luck. He used to host ‘Where Are They Now?’

Where is he now? Good question. Nowhere. The 90s ended, and so did he.

Being Younger Than 15
Remember when you are young and you said "man I wish I was older so I could...." well I'm living the dream!
