I've never had a fried turkey and never will as I am a vegetarian. But I saw a Tur-duck-en deep fried once
fried is good, baked is good, but have you ever tried DRUNK CHICKEN? (and this is not a dating thread timmj. )my step brother has a keg that is made into a little smoker. 13-14 pound turkey at 275 for about four hours. you have to cook the bird while it is standing over a beer (16 oz.) it gets so damn moist and the flavor is incredible.
Things have evidently changed quite a bit since I left the USA in 2003. Drunk and Fried Turkey? I might have to get a 30Gallon fryer and try a whole chicken first. Great Success!
