Yep. Benedryl works for me. Tylenol PM (which is Tylenol and Benedryl) if I run out of Benedryl. And in case of emergency, NyQuil.
A shot or two of Captain Morgan with some Egg Nog does the trick for me

I took Benedryl once because of allergies. It worked, but the problem was that I went to Great America right after taking it. WOW! Talk about enhancing the effects of the ride.
A few different things, eat, watch PBS, drink a beer or get online if my computer still worked.
Amen!
I was thinking too medically.
A beer or two is the perfect sleep aid.
I do the same as KC, I usually just lay there, and eventually I conk back out.
But there are some nights that I think to myself; maybe I should check out the sbg's, see what's happening, but then I realize I would probably be on a lot longer than it would take me to fall back asleep, lol.
a beer or a scotch works well. I will drink chamomile tea on occasion, but it doesnt really work as well as the booze.
Reading or watching a movie I have seen before (if I find anything interesting on TV I will get drawn in and stay awake even longer).
I get up out of bed...put in a Sweatin to the Oldies DVD and do my workouts. LOL

I feel a

coming along................

That would be my second choice. Those can lead to dependance/ tolerance(gotta take more over time to produce the same effect)
check this one out guys. Melatonin: wally world, Vitamin Shoppe, or GNC start with 3mg first 5 might knock you on you a$$. It's the chemical in the brain that induces sleep. Natural and not habit forming. Not groggy when you wake up. Not very effective though if you work nights and sleep days, since darkness triggers it's release in the brain. give it a try WH if this is an on going problem.
