what do U guys/gals do if u can't sleep?

hello fellow chrome domes.....just wondering.... what do u fellow chrome domes do if u can not sleep?  me... usually i sleep pretty good but on those rare occasions...after tossing & turning... i just get out of bed & visit the sly neighborhood (SBG Forum).  as i heat up some water & drink some chamomile tea....it's a herbal tea that promotes relaxation & it tastes  pretty good.  i usually buy the TAZO or the KALAHARI brands.

so... how 'bout u?  what do U guys/gals do if u cannot sleep?

I definitely visit the SBG forum, but also take a few benedryls.  Then, maybe lay on the couch and watch some news.  ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz......

Funny you should post this up Warhawk.
The last couple of nights I have been having problems getting to sleep. It could be work thats been bustin my butt for months finally catching up, not really sure.
Anyway, last night I finally crashed about 2am then work calls me at 5am, I'm 24hr on call.
Usually I can read for a while and fall out, but hasn't worked for me this week.
Can't wait to see what the other Bro's do, I think I need some new ideas....

If I cannot sleep I will usually put on a movie or flick through the t.v and eventually I will drift off. Tea does work good as does listening to some music on the iPod or headphones.

Hoping on SBG is the exact OPPOSITE of what I will do for insomnia as I usually end up online for another 2-3 hours.

usually go down stairs and either work or channel surf.

watch tv in my room, or browse the internet, or maybe play video games with the sound down, my ipod on my head.   or just listen to music on my ipod.

Well I usually get off my shoulders what's wrong.... ike last night my blog that i talked about being a work zombie.

I will usually grab a beer and a book.  I'm usually ready to pass out by the end of the beer.

Just got out of bed because i couldn't sleep and first thing i did was get on the forums...lol so thats one thing i do when i can't sleep. Other then that i will watch a movie, play a game, or search the web....something that requires a computer to do since everyone else is sleeping and don't want to wake them up. If i am in the mood  for it i will read a book. Sometime i do this until it light out and then i end up falling asleep.

Reading something relaxing will help me. If I get online, I seem to be more jazzed up, so try to avoid it late at night. Sex of some sort can also do the trick.

i joined this forum oct. 30 2006. in the last year i have racked up over a month on here. i would have to say i get on SBG. hell that is why i am on here now.

I usually just lay there.  I figure at least if my body can't get sleep it might get a little rest.
