Great to hear your enjoying the ATX mate.
Like I keep saying, I love my ATX, gives me the "smooth as baby's bum" feel time and time again.

Still using the Headblade sport here - prefer the triple blades - use Gillete Fuisn manual for touch ups in hard to reach spots.

Hello,
I use mach 3 now but I wonder what is the real life of one blade as every cartridge I use only last a week or so. I use it every other day. Can you guys give me some tips on how to maintain my blade so that it will last a bit longer?
Thanks in advance.

I think it will depend on a few things, such as how much hair you have to shave, how thick your hair is, how many passes you take etc... When I used cartridges in the past I found that Razorpit worked really well at cleaning the crud off the blades and prolonged blade life a lot! YMMV...

Try dipping your cartridges in rubbing alcohol after you've finished shaving. Rinse with water then rubbing alcohol then leave to air dry, it dries pretty quick. Also try this

Hey All,
I've been shaving my face with the Gillette Fusion Proglide for a couple of years, so, when I started shaving my head last week it was a natural transition. (I am planning to order the ATX kit.) One thing I have tried to extend the life of the blades is storing it in baby oil, (my wife saw it in a TV ad for a book) so far it has doubled the life of ea cartridge.

Hi BBCMark thanks for the advice
I use that same blade. I will try it starting tomorrow and see what happens. The things are so dad gum expensive I have too figure out something.

Very jealous, I wish my skin was that tough. Have you always shaved like that?

When I knew I was going to do the St Bald's event, I researched lots of information (internet how did we live without you?
) and discovered Headblade. Went to the local RiteAid and bought the ATX and HeadSlick. And never looked back...Last Friday UPS brought me a full lineup of products from the company, thanks T for the discount!
Definitely a Headblade dude.
