i got the HB Sport for christmas w/triples. don't like the triples. tried the off brand atra blades that i had on the HBclassic today and have found a winning combo. will try others later but for now i am sticking with the sport and atras.
I didn't care for the triples either. In fact before I purchased my first HB, I specifically checked to see which blades it took, just so I could know if I could get blades locally. I've used generics, they just don't seem to last as long as real Atras. I buy the Atra's in bulk off ebay.

I'm using the Gillette Fusion right now but it is very pricey. I'm not restocking once I'm out of refills this time. I've heard a lot of people mentioning the Mach 3 power on the forum. Would I be going in a good direction with that razor? Please give me some feedback. Thanks.

I think the Mach III would be the NEXT best choice if yer finding the HeadBlade awkward.
But IMO I think you're gonna find the Fusion hard to beat. That's why I'm sticking with it, despite the cost aspect. (I've taken a second job just so I can continue using it

Mach 3. You can get refills on Ebay for less than $1 each sometimes.
I've had some luck with a Norelco electric shaver, but since I'm shaving a full head it does take a long time ~20 minutes as opposed to 4 minutes when blade shaving.

The Mach 3 gives me a great shave. Once I use up all the refills, I might give the HeadBlade at try.

As you ALL know by now I've been using a HB "Classic" and an HB "SPort" for my "dome", and everything is fine "Up top".
Unfortunately, I've been really unhappily switching back and forth between my Mach 3, Norelco electric, etc... and have not been getting the kind of shave that I used to get "Wet-Shaving" with my trusty Gillette Adjustable DE years ago. If I could find my old Gillette DE Adjustable I'd probably switch back to it, but obviously it hasn't survived...and is long gone somewhere...
So, I'm seriously thinking switching to a STR8 Edge Blade "Wet-Shave" for shaving my face. Trying to decide whether or not I go with an "Old Style" STR8 Razor, or go with the "new-fangled" Japanese "Feather" rechargeable cartridge type STR8 Razor.
Your comments and opinions most welcome, please.
I'd like to link up and exchange info with ANY guys who are face shaving with STR8 Razor.
Thanks in advance!
Tony
