Head Shaving, Grooming & Care > How To Protect Your Bald Head
Skin Cancer heads up today at work.
Tyler:
I use the Matte For Men for everyday use. I has an SPF of 25. For long periods in the sun I use Coppertone SPF 45.
JDog:
Glen that is aweful to hear about that guy at work. Skin cancer kills 8000 Australians every year. There is very little ozone layer over much of the continent so even 1 hour in the sun can do serious damage.
Joe.Like Warhawk says,Banana Boat make a great sunscreen which has a good moisterizer in it to give you a nice shine. I use the Sport 30SPF rating.
I have never tried the Headblade suncreeen.
Robmeister:
It will be interesting--now that more and more white guys are head shaving--how that will affect future outbreaks of skin cancer noggin-wise. :-\

Great point Robmeister,
I think as long as most use common sense and liberally apply the sunscreen like you do on any other part of your body when in the sun, then you pose no real greater danger with getting Melanoma.
Timmay:
Do all of you always put sunscreen on no matter what? I never really gave it much thought until I started reading this post. I wore sunscreen when I was in Florida for vacation...but never really considered the consequences here in Indiana. Yes it gets hot here too...but i rarely even burn or anything here....but I know that by NOT burning still causes sun cancer. WOW....you really got me thinking here.
