Thanks for the input guys.

Tyler, the Matte for Men, does it tend to stay greasy looking or does it soak up pretty well?

JDog, I know you like to shine, bro, but does the Banana Boat soak in as well?

Being mostly Italian, I tend to have a bit more oilier skin at times, lol.

And Tim, from what I've read in the past in health magazines and the like, we're getting damage that we can't see.
I think we should be putting on some type of sunscreen each day. Minimal probably an spf of 15. Of course, you then use your activities to gauge which spf number you should choose.

Glenr, good post to get the guys aware and thinking.    O0

One (actually two) parts of your body that can't be ignored is your ears. My father in law is outdoors a lot. A few years ago, he was diagnosed with mild melanoma on both ears. He rarely put sunscreen on them and he paid the price. He was the reason that I went to wearing the bucket/Gilligan style hats or straw hats for golfing to cover my ears. When I'm wearing a baseball cap, I always put sunscreen on the ears.

I really like the HeadLube Matte, but I use L'Oreal's Comfort Max After Shave Balm with SPF 15. Goes on easliy, not oily, smells good, has Vitamin E, is alcohol free, and is $7.50 for 3.3 oz (a lot cheaper than the Neutrogena I was trying out).

Hey Tyler, I know HeadBlade has Head Shade, but is there any consideration to putting sun screen in their HeadLube?

Great idea schro.  That would be awesome to have two products in one.   Fan of HeadLube be great to have a sunscreen in it.

JDog:
Joe, Yeah the Banana boat Sunscreen that I have been using gives a great shine.

I was using a more generic brand called Ausscreen which gave me a more oily texture on the dome.

I now use Headlube Glossy and it gives a wonderful non oily shine. Wish it did have an SPF rating though.

I just started a 2 week treatment for AKs (keeping a daily log on another post).  My dermatologist recommended Neutrogena, UltraSheer Dry Touch Sunblock. SPF 55.  It has something called helioplex in it that covers uva and uvb.  I've been using for about 3 days.  Not greasy at all.
