Hey BA, sounds to me like you're a sink shaver, brudda, why not give the shower shave a shot? That could help a bit, but with a toddler about, I'm sure all of your time is spoken for, lol.
I don't have to worry about that as much now, since my daughter is going on seven, but I do remember those days where you can't be out of their sight.
Just gotta enjoy each stage, bro. It goes quick!

hey guys; Regarding shower shaves;    tried it once and didn't like it because:  soap got in my eyes (and i was using a super sensitive gel ; unscented , lots of aloe,  etc )  and the lather got washed off and so i got a few nicks.   I know i could stand out of the line of water; but that kind of defeats the purpose; wastes water etc.    Any secrets to shower shaving that I should know about?

John, try it this way; save the shaving of the dome for last, as it will help to soften the stubble as much as possible. Use the Headslick, or KoS Alphagel (really stays put).
If you do this you shouldn't have to worry about soap in the eyes, and as I say the Alphagel stays where you put it. At this point you're only concerned with shaving the dome.
I usually stand with the water off my head, on my shoulders or back. It won't take too much more of your time once you get into the groove.
Try to lather up while you are finishing rinsing below the head(on your shoulders, guys, lol).
This usually helps save some time and gives the lather a chance to do it's job. Maybe it can work for you, let me know.
