well least you got 4 bottles at a discount price, i don't know about you but that last me probably 32 months - 48 months. I can't remember the last time I had to replace my head slick but it was before i moved into my new house in Feb.
With that kind of time you'll be able to find a new store to purchase it from.

Tim this is pretty devastating indeed bro. Like frost says it is great that you were able to get 4 bottles for cheaper but sucks that Wal Mart are not going to carry the HB stuff anymore. I guess the age old taboo of having a full thick head of hair is more important that selling products that do have a profound impact on peoples lives and not perpetuate a lie like hair regrowth lotion does.
You did a good thing by ripping of the re order barcode.Good on ya bud.!
BTW you are a champ for picking up a bottle for me. I cant thank you enough.

Tim, Wal-Mart often carried merchandise based on what will sell, but rather what type of mark-up / discount they get. They also will have the manufacturer make it to their specifications so they will not need to meet competitor prices (i.e., their product is a bit different). HeadBlade may have chosen to not "sell out" to Wal-Mart.

Man, I hope that isn't in every Wal-Mart. That's where I get mine, and it's cheap. I can go to other places like Walgreen's, but I love Wal-Mart's prices.

My local walmart quit carrying also. I was there last week and the only thing they had was the HB Sport, no Slick or lube, and no place on the shelf for it either. I went to the clearance aisle, but didn't see anything there. The good news is K-Mart has it.

Yeah, I agree with my man pruitt on this one. It's probably HeadBlade themselves deciding not to be carried at Wal-Mart anymore.
"reject?" Damn bro, feeling a little harsh are we? The poor person could be struggling through college to have a better life and maybe the very flexible schedule at Wal-Mart allows them to do what they have to do.

You do realize that the big box stores negotiate a very low price in order to keep the prices low. I read an article where Walmart wanted some brand of lawn mower to start making one over seas cheaper, basically a cheaper copy of their good quality lawn mower. The company refused, Walmart quit carrying everything from that mower company. Basically they told the company do it our way or we don't sell anything you make. I was pretty happy and amazed that the company refused to lower their quality to meet Walmart's demands. Wish I could remember the brand.
Pretty much the same way Home Depot sells John Deere now. The John Deere at Home Depot is a cheap copy made over seas. It's not up to the quality you can get from the John Deere store.

Ok well maybe calling that person a reject was a little over the line. But after the comment the associate made I dont think it matters. She was liek well I just work here there aint nothng I can do about and for all that matters to me all you skin heads can go somewhere else to buy your product and not shop at walmart anymore. Do I call that slander?? yeah i could have reported her...but didnt look she had much anyways...so waht was i going to accomplish? Putting her back out on teh streets? I am not that cold hearted.
I will be sooooo happy the day walmart finally realizes that they are the ones who are getting all the sh*t stirred up here in the states. Like the stuff from China that has lead paint on them. Remember 10 years ago..Only In the USA....yeah what happened to taht sh*t. Walmart is the biggest importer or foreign goods. Screw the Americans. Well the way I see it..What goes around..comes around. They will get their share one day. Nothing last forever.

I rarely, if ever, shop WalMart. I always get my stuff from reliable sources. WalMart is nothing more than a big warehouse full of China made crap.
You can still get your head gear online thankfully. And I'm sure there are other places to buy the HeadLube and HeadBlade. Just because WalMart discontinues it, does not mean that the world has run out.

And as a sidenote, if you want to see a really good video about these box mart stores, (both funny and sad because it is true), check this out:

That sucks.
I worked for Target for 4 years, and sometimes they carry a product for a few months and then drop it, sometimes it never reaches the shelves because of incompetent sales planners.
It's all about what's flashy and new to them, so I tend to just order online or hit up Walgreens/Rite Aid/CVS.

Yes I know there are other resources to buy the headslick. It is just that it irks me the way walmart does in business. I still say to this day taht walmart is ran by the gov't and soon before long they will control everythign we buy. I despise walmart to the greatest..but here in this sorry thing we call a town of Washington Indiana..its the only department store we have to shop, unless you go to the Dollar Store. The nearest big town to me that has any variety at all is Evansville and it is a little more than an hour away. I would just love to see walmart crumble adn fall some day...but will that ever happen? Not unless we all boycott walmart. That woudl be a big feat within itself. But nothing is impossible. I have seen where certain cities will not allow walmart to build. I wish that was the case here. Oh well..life goes on right?

I seen that movie I think Jdog..it was documentry about walmart andhow it had ill effects on this small community. THey fought adn fought to keep walmart out and they got the ok to build. I guess it jsut goes to show you that walmart really isnt an american company. Especially if they love going after the small mom and pop stores. Oh well...seems like fighting against them is worthless...best thing to do is to just stay out of them. I know I try as hard as I can..but sometimes I just have to go there..and if I do ..its in real quick..get what i was there for and out. I never browse walmart...its pointless..

Another reason why I don't shop WalMart. Sure, you get the "lowest prices", but at what expense? At the economy of this countries expense.
I can picture it now, the USA becoming a third world nation with the most WalMart stores. Thats what will eventually happen if we let other nations do the manufacturing for us.
Imagine the day that China and Japan tells the US to go screw itself? What will we do then. I should write a screenplay (movie script) on a scenario like that.
THE EMBARGO - Rated R. Now playing at these burned out and looted theaters. It wouldn't be a pretty scenario, that I can tell you.
BTW - the HeadBlade is made in China.
