"Any advice you can offer? "
You can't change the size of your skull. Is not a bad thing as long as you neck can support the weight. How big are you talking about? What is the diameter have you measured it?

Hey
I have a large head, think Brett Gardner but bigger. I get some funny looks now and then but hey, its on my body and I have to live with it.
My head seems to have been blessed with an extra three inches on top of what is supposed to be there. Without it I would only stand at 6 foot one, with it I am six foot four
What happened to your pic Karlton? I saw your post but not Pic.
Here's my dome under an unflattering light. It may or may not look that big in photos to some people, but it is big enough to look kind of odd in most situations. My hair line is still not completely gone. I think I might grow it out for now. I'm not sure I'm ready for the bald look. Let's see what you're working with!

Karlton,
I think you should give shaving it a try. It is the way your hair is thinning that causes you to focus on it, keep the beard to balance things out. Shaved it would just be even and round not outlined by hair, that is why you think it is pointed all people have a point in back. Once you shave it I don't think you will care what size your head is. With hair its the same size after all.

I don't know my hat size, but, as a child i was once told that you show movies on my forehead. That hasn't really changed.
I have been an avid shaver for about a decade and I am now actually losing my hair. I would look funny with hair now. My license, passport, a visa and other IDs show me as being bald.
Go for it. If you don't like it it will grow back but I promise you may just like it. At the very least try clipping without any guards. I think it will look good.

Your head looks fine, seriously. You look like any other regular guy out there. I really think that buzz cut suits you.
I win the large head competiton and will have to build up some courage to post a pic one day.

Hello Karlton:
One of the guys I was in the Navy Reserve with really does have a GIANT head. I have never seen another human being with a head that large. Making matters worse, his ears are very small and mounted very low on his head, (almost to his jaw line). So almost all of his head was above his ear and eye lines. All the time I knew him in the Navy he was completely MPB bald except for a narrow "Monks Fringe" around the three sides of his head and a bushy "Cookie Duster" mustache. That Monk's Fringe was like a neon sign advertising the size of his head!
About two weeks ago I saw him at a reunion. He has shaved off the Monk's Fringe so that he is now totally sly. He has trimmed down the cookie duster so that it no longer hangs off of the front of his face like a "cow catcher" on a locomotive. And I thought to myself; his head doesn't look as big as I remember it being!

No way dude, I know I have you beat LOL... I was scanning my computer for a pic and every one I am wearing a hat, sunglasses lifted up to my forehead, or sunglasses worn normally. Hat and glasses are the tools of choice to obscure things up there LOL.

Those would be my words as well. I have that point in the back as well and nobody has commented on that. All they comment on is how good my shaved head and beard look.

I didn't mean to hijack your thread Bill. I just want you to know you're not the only one who is less than crazy about your head size/shape. I am trying to pack on some pounds to even out my proportions. I still feel awkward, but I appreciate you guys saying it looks ok. I wish you other guys would throw up a pic!
