a bit all you guys are obsessed with having a sly head. i mean a sly head looks good, but lets all accept that hair looks good too.
i just think that in 2-3 month my hair will be normal looking. and if that happens i will never shave my head. if i can get my hair normal looking again, shaving is not the style i want to have.
the next 3 and a half month my hair should go on improving if everything goes normal. you never know so dont quote me on that. but its possible. absolutley.
i dont think its that easy to accept a really bald head (even if shaven) with a horseshoe pattern. its easy though to accept hair.
i wont kick the meds. period. i decided it after thinking long about it.
maybe if my hair doesnt turn out to get normal looking again in a half - a year then maybe i will revide my choice. but as long as i get the chance to have normal looking HAIR again i wont ditch this option.
i will work on acceptance in the meantime though.

Andy, can't help but feel that you think that because we shave our heads we are not "normal" Normal is what works for each individual. You believe we are "obsessed" with having a sly head. Well this forum is called "Sly Bald Guys", not "Guys Who Can't Make Up Their Minds Whether to Shave or Not." It really seems to me that you have some deep psychological concerns about your hair loss. If that is so then you need to work those out first and then make a decision on how to wear or not have hair. You keep asking for advice but seem unwilling to accept that is so kindly offered by the members here. You need to make a decision as to what is right for you and then do it!!!

Andy,
not sure if you are being serious or sarcastic, I wouldn't say you have underlying psychological problems with baldness, but you have an issue with your self image, or it may be called dysmorphic syndrome, that means the way you see yourself is quite different than the way others see you.
I know some of the other guys here have asked you how much time you spend in the mirror, and I think that might give you a good place to start.. are you spending too much time looking in the mirror and trying to change something you cannot?
The guys here are just trying to give you the encouragement to go sly and keep it that way, you may think you are alone and nobody else has ever experienced the feelings you have right now. If that is the case, you can't be more wrong. One thing I've learned in my life is that listening to others and their experiences is a valuable resource, kind of like 'history' if we didn't know history, we are bound to make the same mistakes again. Listen to what the other guys here have to say, as much as you may not like what they have to say, many have been right where you are now. Many have had to make the decision(s) that you are faced with.
One thing I love now that I'm sly, I don't have to worry about my hairstyle any more, I simply shower and shave, and I am quite happy about it... I have had very few negative comments, the few negative people, I don't care about at all... I have had about 10 times the positive comments versus the negative ones.

Andy I agree with Warhawk man, you can just talk to us man, don't go hurting yourself, it's only hair, I (we) do think that you look good with a bald head, but it's ultamatly your choice if you're going to shave it or not. If you want to talk privately, you can send someone on this forum a personal message, so it will only be between the two of you, who ever it is. Just don't hurt yourself OK, please let us try to help, we are family here and that includes you.
