Sink shave after a nice hot shower.
1. Shampoo: Bosley Hair Shampoo (I wash the beard with this as well)
2. Razor: Gillette Fusion Pro-Glide
3. Shave Gel: AVEENO® POSITIVELY SMOOTH® Shave Gel
4. After-shave: AVEENO® Men's™ After Shave Lotion all over the head for that nice cooling sensation.
Nice, smooth, and shiny all day long!

I shave at the sink after a hot shower, but my first shave of 2014 was at the gym and the hot water was out. So it was a sink shave after a cold shower.
Blade: Gillette Fusion
Soap: Headslick Shave Cream
Fortunately the hot water was working by the time I got to the sink to shave, so at least I got a nice hot shave.

Normally don't use preshave oil, but the skin is a little irritated.

Ming keeps his Imperial Exchequer amply topped up by being a skinflint in matters that fly under the radar in public. First of the year? As always.
Sorry, guys, but "The Merciless" finds that bags of no-name (from Target) disposable razors and canned shaving cream (Barbasol) work just fine. What does "fine" mean? The dome is slick to the imperial palm run over it post-shave; there are no nicks; there is no redness or razor burn. A single disposable razor lasts a couple of weeks. What's not to like?
But Ming does not prescribe, only describes. Whatever works for you.
With the savings from razor expenses, Ming soon plans to buy a Ferrari.

Pre-shave: Shave Secret
Soap: an olive oil bar soap sliced up to fit the mug
Razor: Gillette Fusion
After shave: Old Spice Original
Were it not for the mug having been my father's, I probably still would be using a canned foam or gel.

First headshave was Jan 5th.
Took my clippers and mowed off a killer flattop(grown for 6 weeks).
Jumped in the shower to clean and soften.
Shave secrect, shave gel, mach 3 razor, AHHHH, smooth again!
S/O moved out on Jan 4th, so no more issue with being sly.

Reddog, you look fantastic with that shiny bald head! If your SO objected to it, it was her loss! Welcome back to slydom.
Here's a new step for me. I found self-pic (taken by someone else, not a "selfie") that is from one of my earlier sly periods. I went thru an old post that showed me how to make it my avatar. We'll see if it works! I think that it gives you an idea of what I look like.

Thanks Earl, I've got 2 gals that have showed interest already, and they both said they love the sly look. Hmmm, that never happened when I had hair!

Hi EarlBald
First time I've seen your pic and miust say you look good. Notice you have been a member on and off since 2007 so presume you have been shaved most of that time.

Thanks, Roger. I've been sly off and on for many years, but I think I've finally settled into it. I don't have too many self-pics, so this one is from an earlier sly period, about 1 1/2 years ago. Still, you get the idea. I think you look good bald, too!
