Bald in Connecticut
« on: September 29, 2013, 08:34:19 PM »
I stumbled upon the site while googling for a good set of hair clippers.  Love the site and am enjoying reading the forum.

Shaving my head was the best decision.  I stressed about losing my hair for years and when I finally did it, the weight of the stress was gone instantaneously.

I'm a teacher and in our system there are 4 of us - all bald and all with goatees.  The kids think we're all brothers!

Welcome. I am glad you came here and felt comfortable posting something already.  What level/grade do you teach?

Hi Marshall,

I used to teach fifth grade.  Now I'm an instructional coach - so kind of a teacher of teachers - in an elementary school.  It's a great job!

lol.... I'm having flashbacks of walking through the crowded hallways between classes in high school.  If someone yelled out, "Hey, Mike!"  half of the guys would turn and say, "What?"...lol.  I got to where I just ignored my name after a while...   ;)

A great look Mike and welcome.

Kids are funny that's for sure.

That weight being lifted is the best isn't it? Cheers.

Welcome to the forum Mike. You made the right choice in shaving. You're right about the instant loss of stress, and the freedom you feel once it's done. Way to go.   O0
