Halloween Costumes for 2013
« on: August 16, 2013, 08:25:25 PM »
I know we're only in August, but we're quickly approaching the time where we need to get creative with our bald heads and come up with some good Halloween costumes.  Anyone have any costumes that went over well in the past years?  Any thoughts on what you are going to do this year?

My son wants me to dress up as Charlie Brown so he can draw the jack-o-lantern face on the back of my head.

Last year I was Charlie Brown, everyone loved it! In the past, I have been a blue man, Mr. Clean, and a random bald villain/secret service guy. No clue on what I will do this year...

Halloween 2014 - I am a teacher. Fun is basically banned from public schools so there is no dressing up. To get around it, we dress as our "favorite book character." Last year I did Dumbledore from Harry Potter. Fake white beard. This year, I was going to do Charlie Brown, but I am three weeks into a new beard and don't want to shave it. Can I be Charlie Brown's bearded dad?

Any ideas of how I can incorporate my real beard into a book character costume? I'm thinking Walter White won't fly in an elementary school and neither will Satan, although he is from a book. Lol.

I don't do Halloween but you could always put on a black suit and go as "Hitman" from the movie and video game.  All you would need to do is get a temporary bar code tattoo on the back of your slick dome!

Mike,

My youngest daughter (in First Grade), loves the Disney show- Hey Jessie.  The butler on the show (Burtram) has a buzzed head with full beard.  He is a much larger guy, but the kids may still get the reference.

--may still be a stretch, though.  It may be easier to come up with a something that requires a hat or something.  lol.

Thanks, mike. I ended up doing the Mad Hatter. Well, my version of the Mad Hatter. More inspired by Tom Petty than Johnny Depp. It was fun. I wore a top hat and kept my beard!
