How do you determine what "your" decade is, anyway? Is it the decade you were born it, the decade of your early childhood, or the decade in which you came of age? I've always sort of thought of it as the decade in which you graduate from high school.

i was born in '73. never really enjoyed the '80s. '90s were a whole lot more fun for me. started them in colorado and graduated in '92. still can' stand anything '80s. drives me nucking futs. i do like the '90s stuff better. music was better, styles were better. just like the '90s better. (and by the way, i did have parachute pants and a fake members only jacket) anyone remember the SKIDZ pants?

Yes, I figure that I'm an 80's kid. That's when I graduated high school and college, got my first real job and bought my first house. The wife and kids didn't come along until the 90's.

That's me too, for all of the same reasons.

Based on the high school graduation theory, I am a child of the 90's. However, sinve my "formative years", ages 4-14 were in the 80's, I consider my self a child of the 80's. I grew up playing the Commodore 64 so I say that I am definitely a 80's kid!!

I would say Im an 80's kid.....although im still a kid in 2007...

I was more of a late 80's kid. I think my favorite years growing up was from about 1984-90. The last 4 years of the 80's was the best.

I am hard pressed to think of anything I liked about the 90s, other than the 1994 midterm election.

I agree. The only thing I can remember is starting in 1995, the rush to update all the computers for the big 2000 crash, plus the Prince song 1999 playing over and over again.......
Here's a IT question for all the computer brothers on the site, how many were sitting in their office for the 2000 rollover waiting for the power to go out and computers to crash???
1 here!!
