since we r celebrating the 4 of july, many of us will b grilling. i'm a charcoal man when i grill. i know that it is difficult w/ mess and cleanup but the overall product of that charcoal taste does NOT compare 2 the gas/propane grills. so.... what do u grill with: charcoal or propane??? i prefer charcoal. and U???

Hey, just because I love Kansas City BBQ. I don't even try to cook it. The times that I have have not been pretty. I keep it simple with burger, dogs, brats, and the occasional steak.

I think this is a question for Hank Hill and the Hill family from "King of the Hill"...
I think if u ask him, the answer you will get is "Strickland Propane and Propane Assecories" only........
(Alright, for the people who aren't geeks like me and dont watch King of the Hill, there was an episode where this very question came up....geez i gotta explain everything huh....)

Can you legally cook with gas??

I rarely use charcoal briquets anymore... I've that the Hardwood Lump charcoal is much better! Burns hotter and longer and gives a really good flavor!
Brands:
Kingsford
Cowboy
Royal Oak (I think)

Charcoal or propane? Should be no choice. Charcoal is for real men. Meat tastes better that way. When it comes to my meat (and grilled veggies) I can't afford to be lazy.

Gotta go with propane. I don't have the time to wait for charcoal and don't have the time for the messy cleanup with ashes. Plus, I enjoy it too often to not use propane.
