Okay, I admit it... I HATE COLD! It took me a few shaves before I could get myself to crank the water to cold and rinse my noggin' and now you say to use ice???
I'm torn between that and hitting my thumb with a hammer!

Like Mikey from the Life cereal commercials (ok, I'm dating myself), I tried it and liked it! It's easier to take than getting my whole body cold in the shower.

"Give it to Mikey, he'll try anything." LOL
Here we say "Give it to PigPen, he'll try anything"

Glad some of you found it helpful. To those who didn't like it, like I said when I brought it up, to some it may be a little too intense because some people are more sensitive to different things. Me, I can go outside in shorts and a tee shirt when it's like 45 or50 degrees outside and think it feels good. It's just my body chemistry. I always run a little hotter than most people. The way I usually explain it to people is that I can sweat when I blink.

Hey Lance, thanks for the post. I'm still trying to decide whether I thought that It helped or not. But it really did give me a brain freeze. Not sure whether I'll try it again or not. Like you said, it may not be for everybody. I'm a sink shaver, so I have been just pouring cold water on my head from the sink. Kinda of messy, but so were the ice cubes. At least its only water.

Hey, Lance, today marks the 3rd day that I've tried the ice. I started noticing yesterday that I think it is helping my skin. I think I'll keep at it for a week. It still feels weird.

Yeah, I will admit it does have a weird feeling going over your head. The real freaky thing is since your dome conducts a lot of heat some times you can hear the cubes crackling as they melt. I've noticed that it really helps my neckline a lot. On the back of the neck as well as under the chin after face shaving. The one main thing that I noticed, it does for me anyway, is that using the cubes helps close the pores very well which keeps my dome smoother longer. I'm guessing that what is doing it anyway. Because before I used the cubes I noticed the stubble would come back in faster.

Guess I am gonna have to give it a shot. I was using the splash of cold water over the head but ice cubes sound so much easier.

I agree with Sgt. Pate, you guys are nuts! The cold splash is all I can muster.
