SlyinKC, I haven't had that problem. I get my ice cubes wet first before rubbing all over. I had this vision of the movie 'A Christmas Story' where the kid gets his tongue stuck to the flag pole and thought about an ice cube stuck to my head and/or ripping skin off my scalp, so I decided it would make sense to have them wet first, as well as my head being wet. I also don't use any pressure when rubbing the dome. By the way, I think I'm getting immune from the shock of the ice; it just doesn't shock me anymore -- anyone else have this happen to you?
This post got my interest finally. Today I tried ice cubes on my head, rubbing it all over. My head hardly felt any cold, while my hand froze. It didn't do anything for me.
Well, adding the cubes to the twice daily routine. I gotta say, it doesn't FEEL like anything special. I was kinda cold on my head, but my hands really didn't like it at all. It was easier than any other method for chilling my scalp. It SEEMS to have helped my scalp feel extra smooth.I'll have to wait and see if it helps with any bumps and what-have-you.
