You look good!  Give yourself a little time to adjust to the sly look.  Hair transplants are expensive and fraught with problems - look around the boards and you'll see that they are not a great answer.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. Im really glad I joined this great community. I have a lot to think about now before I make any serious decisions. Being a sly guy in India is not really common. People do not really accept their baldness over here with too much grace. And it doesn't help that people on the streets keep staring at my head on the streets... Im actually not being paranoid... people in India love to stare at someone who's different... its quite shocking. Any way I guess I will be taking this one step at a time.

Thank you everyone

Sahil

Sahil ... why do you think they are staring?

Answer: They have not seen such a magnificent "clean" head. They are looks of admiration; in other words, don't assume the worst.

Have you not occasionally stared at someone you thought was extraordinarily attractive?

Welcome, Sahil! I think you look very distinguished with the glasses, goatee and you look like you have a nice shine to your head!....FYI, you are not the first Indian to join the site; we have another couple of Indian men who went sly and adapted with no problem...and you can do the same! Good luck and stay sly (hopefully).

This [^^^^^^^^^^^^^] is quite right. Some or probably most are looking because it looks really attractive. And in a hot place like India it is much better than having sweaty hair on top of you head. No more worrying about how you hair looks etc..

As you know there is also a long tradition of shaven-headed spiritual masters in India. It can't be bad to align yourself in this superficial way with this group. Maybe this is the first step to you becoming a spiritual master.

I wish I looked as good as you do.

Shaved bald looks good on you.  Nice shine on top.  Very distinguished.

If you are really new to shaving your head, give it at least 30 days.  Takes a little while to get used to the look.  Stick around. Join the conversation.  Enjoy being bald.  There are lots of guys here who keep their heads shaved, some by choice, and some because the little that's left just looks better shaved.

And a bald head is much less expensive than a hair transplant.  No guarantee that the transplant will last or really take and look natural. Shaving bald will do both.

Don't forget the scars that transplantation causes -- this can be a real problem for some and later they feel they have to get them treated in various [ridiculously expensive] ways.

Hey guys,

Thanks for some great advice. Decided gona keep the sly look for at least 30 days and see how i feel after that. Today would be day 2.

Just wanted to ask you guys if you shave your head everyday or shave it after every few days. What is the best way?

Also whats the easiest way to shave the back of your head in order to make sure you don't miss anything. Holding a mirror at the back of my head is not really comfortable

Thanks all

I totally agree with ISleepInThe Buff! You look absolutely great, the look really suits you.

Dont panic and go down the body hair transplant route, those things NEVER look good, even if you have the body hair of a yeti to tansplant onto your head, it still looks like chest hair!

Thanks Leigh. I guess its not the bald head that bothers me so much but the massive bald crown I have. Even with a sly head its extremely noticeable. For me it is the most important factor wanting a transplant. Since I have my crown hair I have actually been more worried about people standing behind me rather than front but the cost and the unnatural look from a body hair transplant just makes me feel its not worth it. I know I keep going on about it but like I said let the 30 days pass and maybe I will become a true sly guy.
